One MERRY
For its 45th Season, the Toronto Opera Repertoire will be presenting Gaetano Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor (sung in Italian, with projected titles in English) and Franz Lehar's The Merry Widow (sung in English).
Last season, audiences loved Puccini's heart-breakingly beautiful Madama Butterfly, and had a waltzing good time at Die Fledermaus, Strauss's giddy Viennese comic confection.
