Artour Razgoev was born in 1981, in Yerevan, Armenia, and showed an early interest in singing. His education in bel canto technique started in Toronto in 2000 with voice teacher Vera Kaushansky, and in 2002 Artour sang his first solo concert. He passed several Royal Conservatory of Music examinations with honours in theory, harmony and music history, and he is interested in composing music. He now studies with Ronald Rand, and sang his first tenor recital January 21 this year.
