Kennon SaariA performer of great passion and presence both vocally and theatrically, tenor Kennon Saari is now a veteran of the Toronto Opera Repertoire stage. This years performance as the Duke in Rigoletto marks his third leading role with the company. He made his debut with TOR in 2003 as Rodolfo in Puccinis La Boheme, followed by a thrilling performance as Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor in 2004. Mr. Saari has also shined locally as Monastatos in Opera Yorks 2005 production of The Magic Flute, and the Four Grotesques in the Tales of Hoffmann with TrypTych productions in 2002. Other credits include King Caspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors (2001), as well as numerous concert and special event performances throughout Toronto. He currently studies with Denise Williams.
