Stephen studied piano with Ruth Watson Henderson at the Royal Conservatory of Toronto before completing a Bachelor of Piano Performance degree at McGill University in Montreal, where he studied with Ken Woodman. Stephen continues a varied musical career as a pianist, singer, accompanist, studio session player, composer, and teacher. Stephen has been heard on a variety of stages around Canada, on CBC radio, and in too many bars and pubs to mention. Last year was Stephen’s first year with the TOR, singing the role of Belcore in L’Elisir d’Amore, and he is happy to return this year to perform Germont in La Traviata.
