The Café Momus and the surrounding streets are full of Christmas Eve revellers, including children. One of them (Dorian Ross, lower right) finally gets the toy he wants!



The four friends join up, and Rodolfo (James Dundass, centre right) introduces Mimi (Natalie Donnelly) to his friends Marcello (Gerald Hannon, right) and Schaunard (Oslen Hill, left), while waitresses Lynne Shuttleworth (left) and Brittany Stewart look on.



The crowd is much amused by the arrival of Musetta (Rachael Jewell), Marcello’s former girlfriend, and her wealthy and aged admirer, Alcindoro (Scott Saini). Tired of the old man, she makes a play for Marcello, singing of how men can’t keep their eyes off her when she walks down the street.



Though he’s still in love with her, Marcello tries his best to ignore her — though it becomes increasingly difficult!
