So you want to be a soloist?!
TOR is a community-based opera company, and we draw our soloists from the local community. We're looking for trained singers who are willing to commit time, energy and passion for the opportunity to appear in a fully staged, professionally directed production of an opera classic.
We invite you to audition for our 44th season, with performances in February, 2011. Auditions will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. We ask you to prepare material from the operas currently under consideration:
Madama Butterfly (in Italian)
Die Fledermaus (in English)
Lucia di Lammermoor (in Italian)
All voice types required.
